Most you've hit with a single arrow
I know this isn't really important, but wanted to see if this has happened to other people. Been running around the Realm of Torment in NM with my Glass Arrows build. I'm at r4 on my Lightbringer title. Doesn't seem to happen more with auto-attacks than with spamming Penetrating and Sundering attack, but I've hitting for 150 to 250 with a single arrow. Mainly against casters, but still, these are new numbers.
It happened too fast for me to get a screenshot. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it just the Lightbringer rank?
Edit: In before "rangers aren't good at dealing damage".

I've seen a little over 100 on a single target with barrage at times in HM. This is with buffs up and not counting the OoV life steal or splinter since they show up as separate damage packets. Most likely it's vs a caster with a critical hit.

What other buffs do you have, party wide and self? If you are buffed with shouts, wards, get a crit with the right bow and the right foe you can probably hit those numbers quite easily.

I remember seeing a screenshot on here awhile back that had someone hitting in the thousands. Of course, they were highly buffed with everything under the sun and I believe attacking a low level mob.
It all depends really on the buffs you have, the skills you use, your stats in certain attributes, crit or non-crit, the level of the mob, the buff the mob has on it, etc etc. The list goes on.

It was holy damage vs an undead if I recall properly.

I'm guessing Call to the torment is what happened.

Glass Arrows + I Am The Strongest + Dodge This + Asuran Scan + Favourable Winds + Judges Insight, + Sloth Hunters Shot + GFTE + Anthem of Envy + Find Their Weakness + Order of Pain + EBSOH on level 10 undead. This was before the nerfs.
Pretty sure I hit about 8 or 9 hundred, obviously it was an instant kill. I was running with heroes and a friend which is why ive got about 5 professions, and 4 pve skills going. Didnt take a screen shot though...
If memory serves, with all the + damage skills, its about +210 damage without taking into account the bow damage, which is probably gonna be about 60 on a target that low in armor. Assuming that, I probably hit for about 966 damage including the double for holy, and +75% from a-scan

hurray for rangers! i loooove dealing such great damage. Many people say rangers are a looost class, but this is because most never tried to push off the limits. Glass arrow is a great choice for increasing damage greatly. So good job i guess

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but since the asuran scan update even glass arrows isn't that impressive. Hitting large numbers on training targets or while buffed by an entire party dedicated to letting you deal as much damage as you can possibly do is one thing and dealing damage in a way that is actually beneficial to the party is another. But Rangers aren't required to deal tons of damage so it does not matter much.
Btw rangers are a lost class, but only in pve, in pvp they are a great deal of fun to play.
